To defend and promote this model, the Union works on a daily basis to represent the interests of independent winegrowers in their dealings with public authorities, support businesses in their transitions, and preserve their freedom to operate, focusing on three main priorities.
- The economic resilience of wine estates: supporting wine-producing businesses in their development by easing the constraints weighing on them and supporting them in their development. Objective: to give them the means to adapt and plan for the future.
- Climate and environmental resilience: supporting winegrowers in the face of climate hazards and environmental transitions, with practical tools tailored to each structure. Protecting today to preserve tomorrow.
- Visibility on the market: strengthening the presence of Independent Winegrowers on all markets—in direct sales, wine merchants, restaurants, wine tourism, and exports—by promoting their expertise and local roots. Being visible, competitive, responsive to consumer expectations, and free to choose their own path.
