OUR IDENTITY

Vignerons Indépendants de France, founded in 1976, is the representative union for independent winegrowers. It brings together, defends, and supports those who have chosen an autonomous winegrowing model, from the vine to the bottle.

What does it mean to be an independent winemaker?

Being an independent winemaker means taking on all aspects of the profession: cultivating your vines, making your wine, and selling it while sharing your passion, in your own name. It is a strong commitment, summarized in a clear charter shared by all our members.

THE COLLECTIVE BRAND

How is the Independent Winegrowers network structured?

The Union is structured as a network of 33 departmental and interdepartmental federations, 8 regional federations, 1 national confederation, and 1 European confederation, the CEVI (European Confederation of Independent Winegrowers). This unique network enables us to defend independent winegrowing at the grassroots level, while also making our voice heard by French and European institutions.

Regardless of their production methods, quality labels, or sales channels, we support Independent Winegrowers in their development in France and internationally.
